# Rentler vs Copper Johns

Rentler and Copper Johns both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 94% of Copper Johns's written reviews are positive against 37% of Rentler's. Copper Johns also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Rentler's advantage is ratings volume (3K vs 143). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Rentler against 4.9 for Copper Johns. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rentler has 3K ratings behind it against 143, so its average is the more settled of the two.
