# Rentler vs WhenYou

The clearest difference is review sentiment: WhenYou at 100% against Rentler's 37%. WhenYou also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Rentler's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (3K vs 10). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WhenYou sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $27.99 per year. Rentler asks for nothing beyond the download.

WhenYou holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rentler has 3K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 37% of Rentler's written reviews are positive against 100% of WhenYou's.

Rentler ships an update every 3 weeks, WhenYou every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
