# The Sign vs Ten Dates

The clearest difference is ads: Ten Dates at none against The Sign's shown. Ten Dates also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). The Sign's advantage is review sentiment (84% vs 59%) and ratings volume (1.5K vs 107). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Sign sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Ten Dates sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for The Sign against 4.5 for Ten Dates. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Sign has 1.5K ratings behind it against 107, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 84% of The Sign's written reviews are positive against 59% of Ten Dates's.

The Sign ships an update every 6 weeks, Ten Dates fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
