# The Sign vs NAMCAP

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: NAMCAP at none against The Sign's 11. NAMCAP also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). The Sign's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.2 vs 15.0). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Sign sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. NAMCAP asks for nothing beyond the download.

NAMCAP holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Sign has 1.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
