# Ferryhopper vs Key Experiences

The clearest difference is monetization model: Key Experiences at free against Ferryhopper's free with in-app purchases. Ferryhopper's advantage is ratings volume (4.8K vs 4) and review sentiment (34% vs 20%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Ferryhopper against 4.8 for Key Experiences. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ferryhopper has 4.8K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 34% of Ferryhopper's written reviews are positive against 20% of Key Experiences's.

Ferryhopper ships an update every 2 weeks, Key Experiences monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 20, 2026 respectively.
