# GradeWay for HAC vs GradeSync

The clearest difference is rating: GradeWay for HAC at 4.8 against GradeSync's 4.1. GradeWay for HAC also leads on ratings volume (56K vs 10) and chart position (#140 vs unranked). GradeSync's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GradeWay for HAC sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per year. GradeSync asks for nothing beyond the download.

GradeWay for HAC holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GradeWay for HAC has 56K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of GradeWay for HAC's written reviews are positive against 100% of GradeSync's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GradeWay for HAC ships an update fortnightly, GradeSync every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
