# Locking Check vs ほめられノート

The clearest difference is update cadence: ほめられノート at weekly against Locking Check's every 6 weeks. Locking Check's advantage is iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Locking Check sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ほめられノート sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Locking Check ships an update every 6 weeks, ほめられノート weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
