# Better Workout vs IX NOVA

The clearest difference is rating: IX NOVA at 5.0 against Better Workout's 4.7. Better Workout's advantage is ratings volume (25 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Better Workout sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and IX NOVA sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
