# i2VPN vs tebDictate

The clearest difference is monetization model: tebDictate at freemium against i2VPN's subscription. tebDictate also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). i2VPN's advantage is ratings volume (3.6K vs 2). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. i2VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and tebDictate sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

tebDictate holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: i2VPN has 3.6K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 94% of i2VPN's written reviews are positive against 100% of tebDictate's.

i2VPN ships an update every 2 weeks, tebDictate every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
