# Freenove vs EleRobot

The clearest difference is rating: EleRobot at 3.5 against Freenove's 2.9. EleRobot also leads on ratings volume (69 vs 10). Freenove's advantage is review sentiment (71% vs 38%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

EleRobot holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EleRobot has 69 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Freenove's written reviews are positive against 38% of EleRobot's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Freenove ships an update every 3 months, EleRobot every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
