# Chessable vs Rubrikken

The clearest difference is update cadence: Rubrikken at every 9 days against Chessable's every 3 weeks. Chessable's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chessable sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month and Rubrikken sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
