# Graphite 3D vs Sequence

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Graphite 3D at 60% against Sequence's 0%. Sequence's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (65 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Graphite 3D sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Sequence sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sequence holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sequence has 65 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Graphite 3D's written reviews are positive against 0% of Sequence's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Graphite 3D ships an update every 9 days, Sequence every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
