# Speedometer vs PowerNine 2

The clearest difference is rating: PowerNine 2 at 5.0 against Speedometer's 4.3. PowerNine 2 also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 7). Speedometer's advantage is ratings volume (3K vs 2). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Speedometer sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. PowerNine 2 asks for nothing beyond the download.

PowerNine 2 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Speedometer has 3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
