# Derm to Door vs DIME®

The clearest difference is monetization model: Derm to Door at free against DIME®'s free with in-app purchases. Derm to Door also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). DIME®'s advantage is ratings volume (16K vs 22) and rating (4.9 vs 4.7). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DIME® holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DIME® has 16K ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of Derm to Door's written reviews are positive against 88% of DIME®'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Derm to Door ships an update every 3 weeks, DIME® every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 8, 2026 respectively.
