# Widgetsmith vs EcoGPT

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Widgetsmith at 773K against EcoGPT's 8.7K. Widgetsmith also leads on device support (4 vs 2) and chart position (#38 vs #138). EcoGPT's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Widgetsmith sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and EcoGPT sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EcoGPT holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Widgetsmith has 773K ratings behind it against 8.7K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 72% of Widgetsmith's written reviews are positive against 77% of EcoGPT's.

Widgetsmith ships an update every 2 weeks, EcoGPT every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
