# FanUp vs E

The clearest difference is rating: E at 5.0 against FanUp's 4.6. E also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). FanUp's advantage is ratings volume (557 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

E holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FanUp has 557 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FanUp ships an update every 9 days, E every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
