# Xaralyn Smart vs CloudyBay

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Xaralyn Smart at 100% against CloudyBay's 18%. CloudyBay's advantage is rating (2.5 vs 2.0) and ratings volume (83 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CloudyBay holds the better App Store score, 2.5 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CloudyBay has 83 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Xaralyn Smart's written reviews are positive against 18% of CloudyBay's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Xaralyn Smart ships an update every 14 months, CloudyBay every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
