# GridRewards vs Apollo ID

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Apollo ID at 78% against GridRewards's 20%. Apollo ID also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). GridRewards's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (977 vs 124). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GridRewards holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GridRewards has 977 ratings behind it against 124, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of GridRewards's written reviews are positive against 78% of Apollo ID's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GridRewards ships an update every 3 weeks, Apollo ID fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
