# GridRewards vs Meltek

The clearest difference is rating: GridRewards at 4.6 against Meltek's 3.7. GridRewards also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (977 vs 18). Meltek's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 20%) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GridRewards holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GridRewards has 977 ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of GridRewards's written reviews are positive against 50% of Meltek's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GridRewards ships an update every 3 weeks, Meltek every 4 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
