# GridRewards vs HomeBoost

GridRewards and HomeBoost both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 70% of HomeBoost's written reviews are positive against 20% of GridRewards's. HomeBoost also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks). GridRewards's advantage is ratings volume (977 vs 67) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for GridRewards against 4.6 for HomeBoost. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GridRewards has 977 ratings behind it against 67, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 20% of GridRewards's written reviews are positive against 70% of HomeBoost's.

GridRewards ships an update every 3 weeks, HomeBoost every 8 days. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
