# OBS Blade vs RealtimeIRL

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: RealtimeIRL at none against OBS Blade's 7. RealtimeIRL also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). OBS Blade's advantage is ratings volume (75 vs 3). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OBS Blade sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. RealtimeIRL asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.0 for OBS Blade against 4.0 for RealtimeIRL. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OBS Blade has 75 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
