# OBS Blade vs NDI HX Camera

The clearest difference is review sentiment: OBS Blade at 63% against NDI HX Camera's 11%. OBS Blade also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months). NDI HX Camera's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (530 vs 75). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OBS Blade sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and NDI HX Camera sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NDI HX Camera holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NDI HX Camera has 530 ratings behind it against 75, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of OBS Blade's written reviews are positive against 11% of NDI HX Camera's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

OBS Blade ships an update every 3 weeks, NDI HX Camera every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
