# OBS Blade vs OBS Digital

The clearest difference is rating: OBS Blade at 4.0 against OBS Digital's 3.0. OBS Blade also leads on ratings volume (75 vs 3) and device support (3 vs 1). OBS Digital's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OBS Blade sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and OBS Digital sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OBS Blade holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OBS Blade has 75 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

OBS Blade ships an update every 3 weeks, OBS Digital daily. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
