# EN.CORE vs Steyn's

The clearest difference is review sentiment: EN.CORE at 100% against Steyn's's 50%. EN.CORE also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Steyn's's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

EN.CORE ships an update every 2 months, Steyn's every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on September 17, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
