# Focused Work vs Moment

The clearest difference is rating: Focused Work at 4.7 against Moment's 3.7. Focused Work also leads on ratings volume (603 vs 3) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focused Work sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Moment sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focused Work holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Focused Work has 603 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of Focused Work's written reviews are positive against 88% of Moment's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Focused Work ships an update weekly, Moment every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
