# Focused Work vs Pomomento

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Focused Work at 85% against Pomomento's 50%. Focused Work also leads on ratings volume (607 vs 2) and device support (4 vs 1). Pomomento's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focused Work sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Pomomento sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pomomento holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Focused Work has 607 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of Focused Work's written reviews are positive against 50% of Pomomento's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Focused Work ships an update weekly, Pomomento every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
