# Foxar vs GalacticAR

The clearest difference is rating: Foxar at 4.8 against GalacticAR's 4.5. Foxar also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly). GalacticAR's advantage is ratings volume (120 vs 6) and device support (6 vs 3). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Foxar sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and GalacticAR sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Foxar holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GalacticAR has 120 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Foxar ships an update every 5 days, GalacticAR monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
