# Height Tracker vs GrowX

The clearest difference is ads: GrowX at none against Height Tracker's shown. GrowX also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Height Tracker's advantage is ratings volume (52 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Height Tracker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and GrowX sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GrowX holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Height Tracker has 52 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Height Tracker ships an update every 2 months, GrowX every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
