# Widget Wizard vs Calculator 17

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Widget Wizard at 63% against Calculator 17's 22%. Calculator 17's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and rating (4.6 vs 4.2). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Widget Wizard sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 3 months. Calculator 17 asks for nothing beyond the download.

Calculator 17 holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Calculator 17 has 989 ratings behind it against 57, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Widget Wizard's written reviews are positive against 22% of Calculator 17's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
