# Schedule vs DayViewer

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Schedule at none against DayViewer's 7. Schedule also leads on ratings volume (15 vs 1) and iOS requirement (10.3 vs 14.0). DayViewer's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DayViewer sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Schedule asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.9 for Schedule against 4.0 for DayViewer. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Schedule has 15 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Schedule ships an update every 3 months, DayViewer every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
