# Weight vs Needled

The clearest difference is update cadence: Needled at weekly against Weight's monthly. Needled also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Weight sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Needled sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Weight ships an update monthly, Needled weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
