# TimeWave vs Scoreboard

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Scoreboard at 367 against TimeWave's 25. Scoreboard also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). TimeWave's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.4) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TimeWave sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Scoreboard sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TimeWave holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scoreboard has 367 ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 86% of TimeWave's written reviews are positive against 79% of Scoreboard's.

TimeWave ships an update every 3 weeks, Scoreboard every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
