# Interval Timer vs Slaide

The clearest difference is rating: Slaide at 5.0 against Interval Timer's 4.6. Slaide also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (18.6 vs 26.0). Interval Timer's advantage is ratings volume (25 vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Interval Timer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Slaide sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Slaide holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Interval Timer has 25 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Interval Timer ships an update every 3 weeks, Slaide every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
