# Tidbyt vs GreenTrax

The clearest difference is rating: GreenTrax at 5.0 against Tidbyt's 3.7. Tidbyt's advantage is ratings volume (142 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tidbyt sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and GreenTrax sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GreenTrax holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tidbyt has 142 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Tidbyt ships an update monthly, GreenTrax every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
