# ENERGIZER SMART vs EV energy

The clearest difference is rating: ENERGIZER SMART at 4.7 against EV energy's 3.3. ENERGIZER SMART also leads on ratings volume (388 vs 3). EV energy's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 40%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ENERGIZER SMART holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ENERGIZER SMART has 388 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of ENERGIZER SMART's written reviews are positive against 50% of EV energy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
