# ENERGIZER SMART vs Security Home

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ENERGIZER SMART at none against Security Home's 7. ENERGIZER SMART also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and review sentiment (40% vs 19%). Security Home's advantage is ratings volume (11K vs 388) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 9 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Security Home sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. ENERGIZER SMART asks for nothing beyond the download.

ENERGIZER SMART holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Security Home has 11K ratings behind it against 388, so its average is the more settled of the two.
