# Ripley Auctions vs Dapper Boi

The clearest difference is update cadence: Dapper Boi at every 2 weeks against Ripley Auctions's every 8 months. Dapper Boi also leads on ratings volume (137 vs 2) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Ripley Auctions's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Ripley Auctions against 4.9 for Dapper Boi. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dapper Boi has 137 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Ripley Auctions ships an update every 8 months, Dapper Boi every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
