# Type Run vs Type Runners

The clearest difference is rating: Type Run at 4.1 against Type Runners's 2.3. Type Run also leads on ratings volume (31K vs 3). Type Runners's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and review sentiment (50% vs 21%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Type Run sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Type Runners asks for nothing beyond the download.

Type Run holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Type Run has 31K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of Type Run's written reviews are positive against 50% of Type Runners's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
