# Mr. Traffic vs Matter AR

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Matter AR at 100% against Mr. Traffic's 56%. Matter AR also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ads (none vs shown). Mr. Traffic's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 3.8) and ratings volume (2.1K vs 8). On price and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mr. Traffic sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Matter AR asks for nothing beyond the download.

Mr. Traffic holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mr. Traffic has 2.1K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Mr. Traffic's written reviews are positive against 100% of Matter AR's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mr. Traffic ships an update every 3 weeks, Matter AR monthly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
