# Haze vs Cat Evolution!

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Haze at none against Cat Evolution!'s 1. Haze also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Cat Evolution!'s advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 37 months) and ratings volume (23K vs 1). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cat Evolution! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Haze asks for nothing beyond the download.

Haze holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cat Evolution! has 23K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Haze ships an update every 37 months, Cat Evolution! every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
