# Resize vs Image Compressor+

The clearest difference is ads: Resize at none against Image Compressor+'s shown. Resize also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (1.8K vs 3). Image Compressor+'s advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Resize sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Image Compressor+ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for Resize against 4.3 for Image Compressor+. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Resize has 1.8K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Resize ships an update every 9 days, Image Compressor+ every 10 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
