# Convert vs Sci

The clearest difference is price: Convert at Free against Sci's $3.99. Convert also leads on rating (4.8 vs 3.3) and ratings volume (3.8K vs 55). Sci's advantage is chart position (#11 vs unranked). On review sentiment, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Convert is free to download; Sci costs $3.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Convert holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Convert has 3.8K ratings behind it against 55, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 54% and 54% positive.

Convert ships an update every 5 months, Sci every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
