# WeAudition vs Distill

The clearest difference is rating: Distill at 5.0 against WeAudition's 4.3. Distill also leads on monetization model (freemium vs subscription). WeAudition's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (122 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WeAudition sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Distill sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Distill holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WeAudition has 122 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

WeAudition ships an update every 11 days, Distill every 5 months. Both last shipped on November 7, 2026.
