# Linga vs SubSchool

The clearest difference is update cadence: Linga at every 2 weeks against SubSchool's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Linga sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $5.49 per month and SubSchool sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Linga ships an update every 2 weeks, SubSchool every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
