# Prison Escape vs Koala Klimb

Prison Escape and Koala Klimb both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Koala Klimb's written reviews are positive against 22% of Prison Escape's. Koala Klimb also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 8) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 6 weeks). Prison Escape's advantage is ratings volume (1.7K vs 6). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prison Escape sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Koala Klimb asks for nothing beyond the download.

Prison Escape holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Prison Escape has 1.7K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of Prison Escape's written reviews are positive against 100% of Koala Klimb's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Prison Escape ships an update every 6 weeks, Koala Klimb every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
