# Split Screen vs Cyclope

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Cyclope at none against Split Screen's 1. Cyclope also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 12 months). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Split Screen sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Cyclope asks for nothing beyond the download.

Split Screen ships an update every 12 months, Cyclope every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 17, 2026.
