# Domani vs Spotlight

The clearest difference is monetization model: Spotlight at free with in-app purchases against Domani's subscription. Spotlight also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months). Domani's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Domani sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Spotlight sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Domani ships an update every 4 months, Spotlight every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
