# DClock vs Color Widgets

The clearest difference is update cadence: DClock at every 3 weeks against Color Widgets's every 19 months. DClock also leads on ratings volume (7.9K vs 124) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). Color Widgets's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 59%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DClock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Color Widgets sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for DClock against 4.5 for Color Widgets. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DClock has 7.9K ratings behind it against 124, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 59% of DClock's written reviews are positive against 67% of Color Widgets's.

DClock ships an update every 3 weeks, Color Widgets every 19 months. Both last shipped on October 19, 2026.
