# eShifa vs Float

The clearest difference is rating: Float at 4.7 against eShifa's 3.0. Float also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (9.2K vs 5). eShifa's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 64%) and in-app purchases (none vs 11). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Float sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. eShifa asks for nothing beyond the download.

Float holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Float has 9.2K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of eShifa's written reviews are positive against 64% of Float's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

eShifa ships an update every 3 weeks, Float every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
