# Positive Intelligence vs Othership

The clearest difference is update cadence: Positive Intelligence at fortnightly against Othership's every 6 weeks. Othership's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.7) and ratings volume (2.3K vs 176). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Positive Intelligence sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Othership sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Othership holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Othership has 2.3K ratings behind it against 176, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 78% of Positive Intelligence's written reviews are positive against 89% of Othership's.

Positive Intelligence ships an update fortnightly, Othership every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
